Quoting Babynut:
First-year students at Med School were receiving their first anatomy class with a real dead human body. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet.

The professor started the class by telling them, "In medicine, it is necessary to have 2 important qualities as a doctor. The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the human body." For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the corpse, withdrew it and stuck his finger in his mouth. "Go ahead and do the same thing,"! he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead body and sucking on it. When everyone had finished, the Professor looked at them and told them, "The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention."

I couldn't resist quoting this one to here from the forums. Big Grin

I finally started at the new store, my store. I completed my 30 days of training and passed all my certifications. I am still waiting on one to come back. It's a federal certification for food safety. Hopefully I will pass this one. It's the only one that I'm worried about. I have met almost all of the partners in the store. I stopped in and visited my co-workers from my last job and they all said that I looked happy and was "glowing". I told them I wasn't pregnant so I couldn't "glow". LOL, I was just happy to see them and wished there was something I could do for them. Especially putting up with a manager that belittles them in front of other associates and thinks he's done nothing wrong. That's one of the main reasons I left and went somewhere else, and glad I did.

So work is going well... Took one of my certification tests on Tuesday and I'm just waiting for the results...could be up to two weeks...and one more tomorrow and/or Monday. Hopefully I'll get back to normal and  be a bit more active. On Monday, Sept 4, I start in my own store. My training to be an ASM will be done. Then I start my training for becoming a Store Manager. That will take about 8-12 months. Lots of classes and stuff to take to get my own store. I'll keep you all up to date on how it's going. And yes, I am still loving my job!

FINALLY! I got my VB fixed. Not only did I get it fixed, I switched my host. I couldn't see paying for two different packages when the cheaper one was almost identical to the more expensive one. DUH! LOL

So I couldn't figure out the problem, but I was able to reinstall the new software, and am in the process of rebuilding it from scratch.

Now I just need to get members. Big Grin

Any ideas?

Ok, so I have been trying to get my VBulleting updated to the new version and let me tell you, I wish I'd waited. I am getting no help from VB, and my host says that everything is ok on their end. Anyone here updated to the new version yet? Or know how to help me with the update? I'm getting a database error that points me to a mysql problem.
